This piece stems from being an Artist and having to trust in the unfolding of a piece, very much similar to having to trust the process of life and go with the flow. This is shown with endangered Marvellous Spatuletail hummingbirds and Frangipani flowers ( as the flowers’ ability to bloom even when seemingly lifeless, symbolises resilience and new beginnings, making them a symbol of trusting in the cycle of life) in several stages of life surrounding the words. The words themselves are not even finished - hinting at the artistic process. As with many of my pieces there is a poem to go with this piece.
Trust the Fucking Process
Trying to make sense of this hot mess,
They say to ‘Trust the fucking process—
It births chaos, not finesse,
Something I need to acquiesce .
Thinking the cosmos is inflicting it’s wrath,
When it’s just carving you a better path.
The red pill is swallowed, the veil is torn,
As every soul must be reborn.
The path dissolves what can’t remain,
Each loss a key, each tear a flame.
You’re not broken, you’re being aligned—
This fire burns what it can’t unwind.
So breathe, let go of any distress 
As there’s grace inside this wilderness.
