A messenger between worlds, the crow has long been associated with omens, prophecy and the unseen. In The Harbinger, he stands beneath the darkened sun, as the one who senses change before it arrives.
Behind him circle death’s-head hawkmoths, creatures whose skull-like markings have made them ancient symbols of mortality, transformation and the fragile boundary between life and death. Their emergence from the darkness suggests something stirring beyond what can be seen.
The eclipse marks a moment of suspension , when light is temporarily swallowed by shadow and the familiar order of things is disrupted. Its radiant gold corona transforms the darkness into something sacred: an ending that contains the possibility of beginning again.
From the crow’s beak hangs a crescent moon talisman, representing intuition, cycles and that which remains hidden. He carries it like a message brought back from the darkness , knowledge not yet fully revealed.
