Coloured Pencil on Cartridge Paper, 21x30cm (2020). My favourite bird from Australia is the little Superb Fairy Wren. It is just the breeding males that have the stunning plumage for such a tiny bird, the females are mainly brown and the males shed their breeding plumage when the season is over.
