The Luck Collection was created on Victorian playing cards of animals that have traditionally been associated with luck and good fortune. Each piece has been framed and float mounted in a bespoke black ornate frame. This one is of an orange seven spot ladybird. Historically and cross-culturally, ladybirds are believed to be talismans of luck. Some believe that, if a ladybird lands on you, you should count the number of spots to predict how many years of good luck you'll have.
