I’m glad there’s a day dedicated to the endangered hippo - as even though the adults may be an acquired taste for some, they’re still awesome beasts and baby hippos are just unbelievably cute! I’m just endlessly inspired by nature and feel that nature is the real artist - which I think is what I’m trying to in this little painting on a palette 🎨
