Lucky Fox reimagines the traditional Maneki-neko (Japanese Lucky Cat) as the fox, a creature of intelligence, adaptability and transformation, and in Japanese folklore closely associated with Inari, the deity of prosperity, abundance and good fortune.
Its raised paw beckons luck towards its keeper, while the key around its neck represents opportunity, possibility and the unlocking of new paths. The golden plaque bears 招福 (shōfuku), meaning “inviting good fortune”, and the lucky bamboo growing beside it symbolises prosperity, resilience and continued growth.
The golden halo transforms the fox into a sacred guardian or familiar, while the storm and lightning contrast with the breaking light, a reminder that fortune often arrives through periods of change.
A contemporary talisman for prosperity, opportunity, resilience and auspicious new beginnings.
