Gold-leaf Screened Giclee on Somerset Velvet 330 gsm Paper with a Deckled Edge, 60x60cm. Signed, numbered and embossed-stamped by the Artist. Edition of 25.

Jellyfish symbolise acceptance, faith and 'going with the flow' of life. Trusting 'all that is' will provide it with everything it needs. I have always been fascinated with jellyfish and think they are such an underrated creature. They are not quite animal, not quite flora or fauna - though look as beautiful and elegant as flowers as they drift through the sea, and painting them is almost like painting an abstract as they do not have faces! Hoping to draw attention to their beauty and mystery, I have elevated the status of the jellyfish by placing them on gold leaf (just as religious figures were years ago) and strangely the gold leaf does give an impression of reflective water behind them - offsetting against their striking pink and red hues....

We offer two beautiful framing choices on our artwork, of either a 38mm flat white natural wooden grain frame with a white mount backing and plexiglass, or a 38mm black flat natural wooden grain frame, with black mount backing and plexiglass. These modern choices compliment the artwork perfectly and suit most decors.

We can also deliver framed prints overseas with the plexi-glass option (postage included).
