‘Holding it Together’, which has been created on a canvas I have turned inside-out to use the inner stretcher as a raw outer frame to kind of symbolise liking beneath the surface of the reality we are presented with. The canvas has been ripped open to represent the fragility of nature and society right now, and the hummingbirds are trying to stitch it back together with golden thread 🧵 ✨ with the glitching running throughout the canvas, frame and back, as I’m thinking of framing this piece in a 3D Perspex Case so it can be viewed from all the way around, like a sculpture. A small piece with a lot of meaning 💖
