The raven is a creature of prophecy, transformation and the unseen, an ancient intermediary between the living world and whatever waits beyond it. Revered and feared across mythologies, ravens have long been associated with omens, death, intelligence and divination, not as symbols of evil, but as creatures able to move comfortably through darkness. Suspended from its beak is a smoky quartz point, a traditional stone of grounding and protection, believed to absorb negative energy and turn darkness into something that can be carried and transformed.

Behind the raven, the eclipse-like fluorescent pink halo marks it as something sacred and otherworldly, while the storm and lightning represent the sudden moment of revelation !illumination arriving violently through darkness. A second raven crosses the turbulent sky like a messenger between worlds, whilst also hunting at the legend of Odins two ravens. Along the horizon, fire consumes the landscape, symbolising destruction, purification and renewal: the necessary burning away of what has reached its end.

Together, the symbols make the raven less a harbinger of misfortune than a guide through it. It inhabits that charged moment between ending and beginning, destruction and transformation, darkness and illumination, a familiar for those willing to look directly into the unknown and discover what might emerge from it.
