Oil, acrylic and spray paint on canvas, 80x80cm (2019). Part of the Consume Collection exhibited at the Royal Overseas League.
Consume is commenting on pop culture and consumerism, summed up in an artificially coloured pink doughnut. In nature brightly coloured animals like tree frogs are brughtly coloured to warn animals not to consume them as they may be poisonous. Mankind does the opposite of nature by adding artificial colours to food to make it more aesthetically pleasing for the masses, even though it is being laced with things that are bad for us like sugar, artificial sweetners, e-numbers etc...
We offer two beautiful framing choices on our originals of either a flat wooden white natural tray frame with a white mount backing, or a black flat natural wooden tray frame, with black mount backing.
These modern choices compliment the artwork perfectly and suit most decors. We can also deliver framed painting overseas (postage included).
