Full Bleed Giclee on Somerset Velvet 330 gsm Paper, 70x73cm, Limited Edition of 25. Signed and Numbered by the Artist.
This piece is highlighting the plight of the giraffe, which is now endangered in three out of seven of its species. This is echoed in the slowly disappearing neck, leaving behind just the spots. The giraffe is actually an incredibly steadfast and sturdy animal, yet also very beautiful and elegant with its long neck and stunning eyelashes. Symbolically the giraffe has always symbolised seeing into the future, and remaining graceful and balanced when faced with challenges. The upward drips act as a metaphor that these animals are better than us, and hints at their divinity....
We offer two beautiful framing choices on our artwork, of either a 38mm flat white natural wooden grain frame with a white mount backing and natural glass, or a 38mm black flat natural wooden grain frame, with black mount backing and plexiglass. These modern choices compliment the artwork perfectly and suit most decors.
We can also deliver framed prints overseas with the plexi-glass option (postage included).
