Oil, acrylic and spray paint on canvas (2019) 80x80cm. From the Consume Collection exhibited at the Royal Overseas League. Baggage is a play on the term, hinting at the plastic crisis which is obviously in part made up from plastic bags. A blue whale is trapped in what is reminiscent of a 'goldfish' bag they used to have at funfairs where you could 'win' a goldfish, creating a bitter-sweet image that is symbolic of something much darker....We offer two beautiful framing choices on our artwork, of either a flat wooden white natural tray frame with a white mount backing, or a black flat natural wooden tray frame, with black mount backing.
