All about the birds

Today I’ve completed D for Dove in my ‘A-Z Series of Birds on Native Currency’. Doves are common worldwide and don’t belong to one particular place so I’ve painted a white dove on an American Dollar as it’s green hues set off well against the white, and also because I think America could do with some peace right now (the white dove is traditionally a symbol of peace) as it’s in a time of much political division and unrest. ive also finished this commission of a Chaffinch on an over-sized train ticket which has destinations which have a lot of meaning to the Client.
